Nesting!

So, this week I have been organizing a lot and preparing for our little girl to arrive!  We cannot wait to meet her and see all the unique and beautiful things God has created in her!  So, this week for some of my photos for my 365 day photo challenge, I focused on the theme of baby.  Ok, ok I know I am a little obsessed right now.  I think the crazy nesting phase has begun.  :)  Hope you enjoy some of the photos!!!
Also, I have some etsy products arriving soon that I am very excited about!  With baby on the brain, I thought I would try my hand at some newborn photos after baby girl arrives, so we will have to see how I do?  Super excited to try it out!!

A Breath of Fresh Air

Today I breathe in the goodness of life.  I am reminded of the many friends and family that I have that love and care for me every day of my life.  I am also reminded of all the good things that are taking place in my life right now;  I get to play more with photography since I am now on maternity leave, I am able to have slower days and reflect on the beauty around me, and I have this beautiful gift of life growing inside of me!
As I breathe in the goodness, I am also able to breathe out the business of life around me.  I am able to exhale the stress of trying to measure up to a certain bar set by others.  I am able to exhale the negativity of people around me and simply be content with the life God has given me in this moment.
With Easter just passed, I am ever so grateful that Christ was able to breathe a breath of fresh air for us as well.  He was able to breathe in the perfection and completion of His new self in rising from the dead, and breathe out all of our sin for which He died.  He completed the task set before Him and made a way for each and every one of us for all eternity, and for that I am so grateful!

Below are some pictures from my 365 day challenge that I think reflect on breathing in the goodness of life!  Hope you enjoy!!

Baby Room!

So this week I thought I would post a few photos of baby girl's room since I have had several people asking me to do so.  It is still so crazy to think that in a few short weeks, we will have a precious newborn to bring home to this precious space!  In designing the space, I wanted to create an environment that was soothing, fresh, clean and renewing.  With this new life, I wanted the look of a fresh breath of air throughout the room.  I think it came together quite nicely.  :) Hope you like the pics!

A Little Bit of Sunshine

Good morning everyone!  I hope that life has been treating everyone well as we hop into spring season, with flowers finally starting to bloom and the sun starting to shine.  This is one of my favorite times of the year, because life always seems so full and rich as color springs back into the trees and warmth fills the air, and the smiles of those around me as we sneak out of winter's bind.
This morning I just feel so incredibly blessed.  I am now almost 35 weeks along in my pregnancy, and although the discomforts of carrying a child inside of me are starting to brew, I also feel the heightened sense of what is to come in the next few weeks.  I have an opportunity to become a mother.  What a beautiful thing!  And sure I seem to bounce back and forth from excitement to overwhelming fear, but at the same time, there is an extreme peace setting in my soul about the purpose I am to hold and fill on this earth.  I know I will hold many roles as I continue on in this journey of life, but being one of a mother is one I have always wanted and I feel so blessed to be able to experience in the upcoming weeks.  I also continue to pray in this time for the many women out there who have not been blessed with this season of their lives yet, or possibly ever.  I know that each and every one of them are such amazing, strong people, and that God is flourishing in other aspects of their lives.  So despite the joy that is pumping through my veins, I never want to forget the suffering and hardship of those around me.  Life is a funny thing, there is so much beauty and yet so much loss intertwined together.  I know that is why we need each other to help support, love and show compassion to those in the struggle, while others are in the beauty.  I hope that everyone is able to see  a little bit of beauty in their lives today!
Below are some pics from my maternity pics that my wonderful husband Josh and I did!

Thanks as always for keeping up with my blog!!!  Until next week!
