The Welch Wedding!!

Good morning to everyone here on this rainy friday morning!  I cannot believe how much rain we have been getting this spring?!  It truly has been crazy! I hope that everyone is staying safe and has been finding fun inside activities to do.  I think thankfully, we are at least at the end stretch of rain for about a week or so though!  And speaking of rain, the rain barely held off for this beautiful ceremony I photographed back at the beginning of this month.  I was so glad we were able to get all their photos in before the downpour came later in the evening.  What a beautiful ceremony it was for Ami and Aaron.  I first met Ami back at a salon that I used to do massage therapy for.  She has such a sweet heart and it was such a pleasure being able to capture these special moments between her and Aaron on their special day.  :)  Fun fact about Aaron is that he is not much of a smiler I hear for pictures; however on their wedding day I had no problems at all capturing him just completely elated with joy!  I love that so much!  What a beautiful picture shining through of how much he loves Ami and how excited he was for this day.  I hope you guys enjoy the pictures as much as I did capturing them!  Another beautiful wedding captured, and I have the amazing opportunity to capture another one tomorrow!  I am beyond excited!!

A big thank you again to Ami and Aaron for allowing me to be there on your precious wedding day!  I hope you enjoyed every moment and are enjoying newlywed life!!!

Shiloh's First Vacation!!

At the end of April we were able to travel as a family to Galveston, TX for a short vacation and trip to the beach.  It was a wonderful time away to get outside of Topeka for a few days and enjoy the scenery of the ocean!  I love being around water so incredibly much!  If I could I would spend every day on the beach!  There is something so calming and yet powerful about being next to such a large body of water that stretches beyond what the eye can see.  There is so much beauty in the creation of the water with waves crashing upon the shore and the birds, and animals flocking inland for food and water.  One of the mornings we were there my husband graciously helped me get Shiloh ready super quick and we went out to capture some pictures during the sunrise.  I love some of these images so much and will treasure the memories we shared even more.  The first day we were there Shiloh did not take much to the water, but by our second trip out to the beach, she was just loving it!  I think we have a bit of a daredevil on our hands as she is not afraid of much!  (Future gymnast? ;)  Haha who knows?!)   Shiloh also loved knocking over sandcastles that Josh would make as well as trying to eat everything, from the sand to the sea shells to sticks and seaweed.  She loves trying anything and everything in her mouth.  I do love watching her explore at this age though and discovering and paying very close attention to everything around her.  Oh, to be her age again and to find simple pleasure in watching birds for hours on end, or finding brand new excitement and joy with each new sea shell in hand.  :)  What a beautiful creation we have in children!  Also, I would like to give a huge thanks to my aunt and uncle Judy and Dave Peacock for graciously allowing us to use their timeshare and giving us as an amazing place to stay for our vacation!  :) Oh, and on a little side note, the rental care company messed up and did not have our car available when we arrived, so they upgraded us to a BMW sport when we got there.  Let's just say that Josh was in heaven and he may want a BMW as a future car now..... ;) We had such a great time though, besides our little Shiloh not wanting to sleep through the night again. ;) But not surprise there!  :)  Here are some of my favorite shots from our trip.

Just had to post this one!  I actually beat Josh in putt-putt!!!  ;) #Neverhappens

Watching penguins with dad!

First boat ride!

Sunrise pictures on the beach. :) I will never grow tired of her holding my hand like this!  So much trust and security in the hands of her mom!

Josh captured a few wonderful shots of me and baby boy coming soon!  What an amazing blessing we have!

In the past month or so, Shiloh has become extremely attached to Josh.  Although this makes me sad at times, it also warms my heart beyond words.  There is something so special and beautiful of a daughter in the hands and protection of her father.  And I cannot say enough about how wonderful Josh is as a Father.  No wonder she never wants to let go!

Spinning with dad!!

One of my all-time favorite shots of the two of them.  Perfectly captures her unique and precious bond with him!

On the move!  Exploring this great big world!

Adventure awaits in the steps onward and forward!

She absolutely loves clapping for herself!  We love it a little bit too!

Splashing in the water!
