Wisdom in the inmost place

"Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place." Psalms 51: 6

Shiloh turned 13 months last week.  I cannot believe how fast time is going now, and how much she is rapidly changing, growing and learning.  I feel like she is a sponge, soaking up and absorbing everything that is around her: sights, smells, sounds, actions, everything!  And in this time, the Lord has really been putting it on my heart to make sure that I am seeking after Him first and following Him first, so that Shiloh also can soak in the wisdom, truth and knowledge of the Lord.  I hope and pray that she always sees Him through the lives of Josh and myself and that she may learn to love and reflect Jesus in her own life as well.  What a beautiful life we have and have been blessed with!  For her 13 month photoshoot, we went out to the Governor's mansion here in Topeka, and I absolutely loved how some of these pictures turned out.  It is such a beautiful area, and Shiloh of course had fun exploring the new scenery around her.  :)  I hope you all enjoy!  Oh and for all those wondering, I am almost 36 weeks out with baby boy, so he should be here in about a month!!!  or less..... haha! :)

Thanks for all your love and support everyone!

A day at the zoo!

While we had lots of family in town for Shiloh's birthday, we decided to also take her to the Topeka Zoo for the first time!  We did not really get the chance to see a ton of animals because a lot of them were not out, but I think she enjoyed seeing the ones she was able to.  Although in all honesty I think she enjoyed being carried around by different people all afternoon more, ha! :)  We had a fun time though!  Here are just a few pictures. (Sorry, my white balance is a bit off in most of them as I was not feeling super hot and did not really edit these since I have had so many other photoshoots in May!)

Fun with grandma Harper!

Haha her face cracks me up in this picture!

Feeding the giraffe with daddy!

She was amazed by how tall the giraffe was!

I think the zoo wore her out a bit!

Stories with Grammy Mary!

A big thanks again to our wonderful family for coming out to see us for Shiloh's birthday!  We love you all and had a blast with you here!

Shiloh's Birthday Bash!

We were so blessed to have so many family members and friends come out for Shiloh's birthday a few weeks ago.  She of course loved all the attention and love she received while everyone was here! And thankfully it did not rain all day long, so we were able to let her eat her cupcake outside. :)  Although, she really just wanted me to feed it to her.  :)  She does not like to be messy! Haha!  When we go to the park she will literally sit and pick speckles of dirt off of her hand. ;) I think gymnastics or some other indoor sport may be more to her suit. ;)
But on a more serious note, I am just so grateful to have been blessed with this beautiful little girl.  She is developing so much personality and it is certainly true that you fall more and more in love as they grow and age!  I am so thankful to be able to be her mom and I am even more grateful to be able to stay at home with her throughout the week and soak in all this time as she grows and develops.  What a tremendous blessing!  And very soon we will have another little one to share the love! ;) Thank you so so much to everyone for being so extremely gracious to us and showing your love and support of Shiloh and our entire family on her special day!  Here were some of my favorites from the day!
*Oh and I can't forget to give a huge thank you to Kelly Schunk for taking all the photos of Shiloh in her highchair eating her cupcake!  We are so grateful and love how so many of them turned out!!

She loves her daddy!

So sweet how much she still adores Jenna!

She was excited about her new sandals!

Cupcake time!

She was seriously so hesitant!

And we thought she was going to go for it.....

But she gave it to me to feed her instead, haha!

She's just not too sure about it?

So she wanted daddy and mommy to try it out to make sure!

Offering cupcake to the crowd! ;)

Love this sweet shot of her!

We love her so much!!  What a fun day we had!! Hope you enjoyed some of the precious pictures!!
