Shiloh is 14 Months!!

So, Shiloh turns 14 months tomorrow!  Time is just flying by!!  Over this past month I feel she has started to soak up anything and everything around her.  She copies so many words that we say, and loves loves loves to say "cheese"!  Haha!  It is one of her favorite things to eat, but she also likes to walk around the house and say it anywhere and everywhere.  I think we give her so much praise for it that she gets super proud of herself when she says it as well. :)  Another favorite word right now is sticks.  She is also super into climbing up onto or into anything she can find; boxes, toys, bottles, pillows, and even bowls.  I think she is a little fearless to say the least, which can be a great thing, but also certainly keeps me on my toes!  You cannot leave this child for 2 minutes! (Or if you do she will be standing on something dangerous when you get back!)  My only saving grace I have found is Rio 2.  We do not let her watch tv very often, but let me tell you something, she LOVES that movie!  I only let her watch in 30 min at a time if I need a break, but I think she would sit and watch the whole movie without moving if I would let her! :)  Another favorite thing for her is screaming as loud as she can as she experiments with her voice.  It actually cracks us up!  So, to say the least, she is really coming into her own.  It is amazing to watch as she is becoming more and more independent.  She has an incredibly sweet personality, which I am hoping sticks around!  I feel so blessed to be her mom and although there have been some incredibly rough patches (like the 1st 6 months), I would not trade this job for anything in the world!  What an honor and privilege to be able to raise your own children and have the impact that you want on them.  I hope that I can continue to invest and love and care for Shiloh in a different but still good way as we welcome a new one into our family.  Only 2 days out now!  We are very excited!  But enough on all of that.  Here are some pictures from Gage Park we took earlier this week.  As you will be able to see, she also loves smelling flowers right now!  We are just so in love with this sweet girl and can't wait to see what God brings through our little boy!  Hope you enjoy the sweet pictures!

Bridges Wedding! A lovely picture of service!

Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many".

At the end of June I photographed the wedding of Tyler and Alyssa.  They had such a beautiful ceremony, and throughout taking photographs I kept thinking of this verse for them.  In the middle of their ceremony they did a washing of each other's feet to show sacrifice and service to one another.  What a sweet picture of the way we are to lay down our own agendas and our own lives each and every day for one another.  So many days, I know I, myself am incredibly selfish and simply want to live out life for me instead of setting my needs aside for others.  This is the true picture of love and the gospel.  You see, God has truly been refining my heart lately to remind me that it is not about my happiness or my own agenda, but that my life is about serving and loving others in a way to shine the light of Christ to the world.  So, what a beautiful example these two reminded me of and have set as a starting point for their marriage!  Also, they were so great with me the day of as I am moving a bit slower now coming to the end of my pregnancy!  I hope you enjoy all the lovely pictures of their special day!

Excited for the day to begin!

Ah, I loved her dress!

She was such a beautiful bride!

First reveal!!! They were both so excited! Precious!

A great looking couple!

They had an amazing bridal party and everyone got along so well together! :)

Such a cute idea!

I simply love these candid, real moments! They are my favorites!

Super heros! And how precious is their ring bearer?!

Special moments with mom!

So, Tyler sang to Alyssa as she walked down the aisle!  Such a special moment!  Not going to lie, I almost started crying myself!

Washing each other's feet symbolizing service to one another.  As I said in the introduction, what a beautiful picture of the service of Christ in their lives.

Time to celebrate!

They were so sweet together!

I always love how fathers look at their daughters during the first dance!  :) Love the sweet, raw emotion!

Tyler's mom was full of so many smiles!!!  I think she was a little proud and excited for her son!! :)

Stunning!

Thank you Tyler and Alyssa for a precious day!  I wish you both all the best!!!
