Thomas 5 month, Shiloh 19 month Photoshoot!

What a gift these two are to me!  It is crazy to think how it has already been 5.5 months since Thomas was born!  Time really does go so much faster the second go around!  Today we had such an amazing day with the two of them, which is so nice, since we have had a tough couple of weeks between Thomas breaking 2 more teeth through (making 4 through already!!), and Shiloh being crazy sick with hand, month and foot disease.  But, coming out of this these past couple of days she has been cuddling with me again and really wanting to spend time with me, which had been a little hard to come by before as she simply wanted Josh all the time.  I mean, I completely understand as I have divided attention with her now and with Josh she gets more undivided attention.  But, I sure have missed her sweet self wanting to be around me!  ;)  So, as Thomas passed his 5 month milestone he continues to grab everything and put it into his mouth, including sisters hair! He loves being tickled under his chin, which is just the cutest, as well as getting a thrill from chewing on water bottles, and his sweet little toes.  He is scootching around on his tummy little crazy and getting his knees up under him better each day, so I think we may have a true crawler soon!  We have tried some infant cereal with him, but he is not too keen on anything but breastmilk yet.  :) As for Shiloh, man she is really becoming a tiny, independent human!  It is crazy how much she is starting to grasp, learn and reciprocate.  She talks up a storm now, loves mimicking facial expressions, which can just be the cutest thing you have ever seen, and loves to tell us all about going pee pee and poop!  Ha!  We are hoping this means that potty training in the future will come easier, but I don't have my hopes set on it! ;)   She LOVES bubbles and coloring in the bath as well as coloring on her dry erase board.  She is also super into crazy interactive play, like being spun around, or riding on our backs or jumping and singing and dancing with us.  This stage really is simply the best!  (Except for the tantrum days.. haha!) But she is just sweet as can be and we love her for it!  SO glad she is starting to heal from all her soars and play like her normal self again.  Here are some of my faves from this monthly session!

Thomas 4 month, Shiloh 18 month. Catch-up!

Today is the day for the post from their 4 month, 18 month photoshoot.  Shiloh was having a bit of a tough day, so I ended up just grabbing a couple candid shots as you will be able to see, but I'm still glad I was able to capture a few of her! ;) At 4 months Thomas had just started belly laughing, rolling over from stomach to back and starting to enjoy more tummy time.  He was also, and still is in LOVE with his sister!  He simply adores watching her and cannot get enough of her.  I love it. ;) And, he found his feet!  Which means he always has them in his mouth for diaper changes now! ;)  Shiloh at 18 months really started this phase which she is still in of spinning until she is so dizzy she can no longer stand up! ;)  She also loved standing on our coffee table, singing for us, talking and interacting with Bubba (Thomas), and eating apples and raisins.  It is just such a blessing to watch these two grow and form a relationship with one another.  And really, I just feel incredibly blessed to have two healthy, beautiful children.  We lost Olivia 3 years ago today, and I know she is watching from up in heaven.  I can't wait to meet her some day, but for now, I am thankful she will never experience any hurt or pain in this world.  Olivia, we love and cherish you and know that you will always be a part of this wonderful family of ours!

Shiloh/ Thomas: 3 month, 17 month!

So, I know, I am quite behind with my posts of Shiloh and Thomas, but this week I plan to catch everything up and have everything updated!  Yay!  So first up are some pics back in October when Thomas had just turned 3 months and Shiloh 17.  ;)  I did 2 separate shoots this time, with some indoors and some outside.  We got the cutest superman outfit for Thomas from a nice woman my mother-in law works with, so I had to showcase that!  As far as milestones, at 3 months, Thomas was rolling to both sides, starting to interact with toys just a bit, smiling at Shiloh and grabbing soft toys around him.  Shiloh at 17 months was starting to talk a lot!! Haha! She was also super into closing her eyes and walking around/walking into walls and tables and everything else. ;)  Also, she started getting into coloring, writing on her chalkboard, helping take care of Bubba (Thomas), and making crazy animal noises, saying the names of all her body parts and saying "uh oh" about everything!! ;) She is a crazy character and we love her!  Enjoy the old pics!  More to come super soon!!
