Baby shower season!!!!

Well, thanks so much again everyone for following me on this blog!
As I may not have mentioned very well in my last blog, I am currently pregnant and so so so excited for our little girl coming soon!  I am 29.5 weeks along and progressing well!  With that, I have now just entered baby shower season!!  :) Josh (my husband) and I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Texas last weekend where I was able to catch up with lots of family and friends.  I had such an amazing time!  And let me just say that I miss Texas!  It was 80 degrees and sunny while we were there, which was a wonderful contrast to the below freezing temps we have been having in Kansas.  Here are a couple of pics from the occasion.  :)

Me and my very handsome husband Josh preparing for the shower! :)

Gymnastics girls reunited!!!  These girls are like family to me!  So good to see them again!!

My amazing cousins with my grandma!  So thankful for them in my life!

So, like I said, I had such a great time with friends and family!

I am also excited to share a few of my 365 day photos with you guys and a little bit of the inspiration behind each of them.

   Brrrr!!  It's cold outside!!!

As I hinted at before, it has been incredibly cold here in Kansas lately!  I think most of the country has been getting a bit of a colder winter this year though.  So, in spite of the cold, I was reminded last week of the warmth of the human spirit and the kindness people can have.  I am so extremely blessed to have the friends and family that I do; caring for me and loving me throughout my life!  For that I am so so thankful!

     Passing time

This picture serves as a reminder to me that time is passing ever so quickly in this life, and that I need to stop and seize each moment and savor both the good times as well as the bad.  I feel as though many times I just fly through the day and then it is gone, like a light flashing before me, in which I have missed so many wonderful moments occurring around me each passing second.  Life is so full of good, even when sometimes we are faced with hard circumstances.  So, in this time leading up to our little one soon arriving, I want to make every second count for the clock is still ticking and time is passing quick!  Tick Tock!  Tick Tock! Each second is an opportunity for me to serve in love and may I not miss too many of these wonderful moments in time!

    Light in the Darkness

As I mentioned before in the last post, my husband and I are still recently coming out of the darkness of losing our first child to miscarriage.  This candle to me, represents the light that I am to bring to those who have experienced this same kind of loss.  It is such a heartbreaking thing, losing a child, but I also believe that out of every bad situation comes the good.  I hope that my future photography can be a beacon of light to people and be used as a way to represent all the amazing and beautiful things in this world!!  So may we all find our light despite the darkness that may be looming around us!

Thank you guys so much for reading and following along to the end!  I hope that you enjoyed it!  Next time I will be excited to share about my adventures from Tennessee and St. Louis!!!  I hope you each have a wonderful week!
