Shiloh and Thomas' First Photoshoot!!! :)

Well, I am finally getting some pictures posted of Thomas and Shiloh for some of you who have been asking!  :)  It has been a whirlwind of a time for us lately as we have been trying to adjust to two little ones instead of one (wow!  quite the adjustment to say the least!), as well as buying our very first home!  We just closed on Friday and feel so extremely excited and blessed to be able to have our own place as well as have more space to live in!!!  So, this photoshoot is from mid-August when Shiloh had just turned 15 months and Thomas turned one month!  It is crazy how fast time is going in some aspects, and yet how we cannot wait to get through this fussy newborn stage with Thomas in other ways!  Don't get me wrong, I love love love the sweet newborn smiles, but it is also very demanding and just hard to have so much screaming.  I am so thankful for the strength of the Lord in my life though and for His loving kindness to give me patience and strength to make it through the tough days and to soak in the good ones!!!
As far as some updates on how each child is doing: Shiloh is becoming funnier and funnier by the day.  Some of her favorite things right now are dancing, dancing and more dancing!  Ha!  But also now trying to balance on very unstable objects, like overturned trash cans or her rocking horse, or the edge of a box, and you guessed it, dancing!! :) She loves to twirl and talk to herself and laugh at herself.  She is seriously the cutest thing ever sometimes! She also has started to become very nurturing.  She has a baby doll that she tries to take care of every day, such as feeding her milk from her own milk cup, clipping her fingernails, putting her in Thomas' swing, or the carseat.  It is just adorable!  And, she also has just now started to try and help me with Thomas some.  Like today, after feeding, while I was burping him she really wanted to help me pat his back.  Or during the many times he is crying she comes over and tries to hold his hand, or she just starts saying "shhh, shhh" mimicking me, haha!!  I just feel like she is growing up so fast in front if us!  She truly has a beautiful heart and I can't wait to see it continue to grow!  She is also so into animals right now, and making their sounds.  Monkeys are her absolute favorite, and so after getting her a stuffed monkey at the store this morning, she has literally carried him around everywhere and even is sleeping with him now! haha!  She may have found her first attachment!
As far as Thomas goes, he is still in the cry, sleep and eat phase of life, but I do notice a much calmer spirit in him than Shiloh had at this age.  He cries a lot, and never stops moving...like EVER, haha!  But I can just sense that he likes being held, despite all the movement, whereas I really felt detached from Shiloh at this age and like she hated me because of all the crying.  Maybe it is because of more experience?  Who knows, but I really am loving his brief moments of smiles and his cooing and interactions that he has.  When he is happy, he is super happy and is cooing and talking up a storm which absolutely melts my heart!  I am so excited to watch him grow and to see how his relationship with Shiloh develops.  They are already so cute together (most of the time!!), I can only imagine it gets better and better!  (Especially with more sleep and less tears!  Oh for that day to come!)

So, here are some of the photos Josh and I captured!  Hope you enjoy!!!

Our sweet boy, and that dimple!!

Loved that she was willing to be so sweet with him for me!

This captures their relationship so perfectly!

He is such an amazing father!

Yep, her typical self! ;)

So into exploring and soaking everything in right now!
