Thomas' Newborn Photos!!!

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." Psalm 106: 1

Tonight as I am looking over these photos once again, I am reminded at the incredible blessing of my Savior upon my life.  He has been so good to Josh and I, even in the hard times.  We are blessed beyond measure.  And as we have ben struggling with lots of tears, tantrums and lack of sleep and incredible business as we are also trying to move this weekend, I was reminded today to slow down, be still before the Lord and remember His great love for me.

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still" Exodus 14:14

What a great reminder for me in this season of my life, with little ones running around and days that can seem never ending.  But God is on my side, He is fighting for me.  This was also a great verse for me to remember today as I have been pondering everything occuring with the Syrian refugees as well as many wonderful women out there who are struggling with infertility.  Everyone has battles they are facing, some much larger than others, and we are all called to pray for each other and stand beside each other.  We are called to be light to the darkness.  So, I pray that I might be light to my beautiful children, as well as a light to those around me.  May we also be the hands and feet of Jesus and serve and help those around us by whatever means that we can!

All of that to say that God is good and I feel so blessed to be where I am at right now, this current season, struggle and all because there is beauty here and God is peeling away selfish layers and creating me into more of who I truly am, more of who He wants me to be.  And I know that a piece of that is a wonderful, caring mother who seeks first and foremost after the Lord!!  (Definitely not there, but trying my best!) May the picture of my life be a great example and a legacy for my children! I always want my children to know that no matter what they are valued, loved and treasured not only by Josh and I, but also by Jesus!

Enjoy these sweet images of precious Thomas!!! :)
